宝马集团董事长齐普策:宝马的供应链始终联通中国和欧洲

  今日的CDF之声来自宝马集团董事长齐普策(Oliver Zipse)。

  齐普策始终坚信加强合作才是实现繁荣的最优解。宝马与中国动力电池制造商携手推动产业融合发展,树立中德合作共赢典范。宝马的供应链也始终联通中国和欧洲,未有拆解转移。

  齐普策表示,宝马已在华深耕三十余年,中国已不单单是一个销售市场,而是第二故乡。当前中国正在技术产业革新方面奋楫笃行,宝马将携手中国合作伙伴乘势而为,积极践行“家在中国”战略,进一步驱动高质量发展,与中国结伴同行、共创未来。

  以下是发言全文:

  女士们、先生们:

  在挑战日益激增的当下,创新与技术能为我们提供诸多解决方案。宝马集团早已将创新融入我们的基因。近年来,中国市场在宝马全球创新版图中的战略地位日益彰显。从大力推广新能源智能网联汽车,到先行探索智慧城市,再到实现人工智能的突破性进展,合作使中国这片热土持续迸发着创新的力量。

  宝马已在华深耕三十余年,中国对于我们而言早已不单单是一个销售市场,而是我们的第二故乡。在这里,我们不仅生产和研发汽车,更积极助力中国社会的发展。

  如今,中国正在技术产业革新方面奋楫笃行,宝马将携手中国合作伙伴乘势而为,进一步驱动高质量发展。

  我想同各位分享三点看法:

  第一,关于国际关系。经济因开放而繁荣,因封闭而落后。我们对保护主义浪潮在全球范围内兴起感到担忧。保护主义没有出路,只会满盘皆输。宝马始终坚定反对加征关税等贸易壁垒。当“脱钩”和“去风险”的言论甚嚣尘上,我们坚信加强合作才是最优解,而绝非反其道行之。

  我想谈的第二点是产业融合发展。我们与中国动力电池制造商携手共进,树立了中德合作共赢的典范。我们从宁德时代和亿纬锂能位于匈牙利的电池工厂采购第六代动力电池。我们同宁德时代之间的合作更是可以追溯到中国汽车产业电动化初期。宝马的供应链是联通中国和欧洲的坚实桥梁,我们不断夯实加固,未有拆解转移。

  最后,我想与大家分享的是,宝马在华孜孜以求,久久为功。宝马在中国建立了除德国之外的最大、最完备的研发网络,四大研发和创新基地分别位于北京、上海、沈阳和南京。我们为“新世代”开发的全新一代电动汽车平台,正是宝马“家在中国”战略的直观体现:针对中国市场的“新世代”车型由我们在上海的设计团队领衔,以便更好地符合中国消费者的审美,满足其对于功能上的需求。这些技术解决方案生于斯、长于斯、成于斯。

  女士们、先生们,宝马在中国的故事清晰明了——我们与中国发展同频共振,和中国创新共生共进,随着中国经济的繁荣而蓬勃向上。对宝马而言,“家在中国”不只是在这里设厂或是销售汽车,而是要与中国结伴同行、共创未来。

  让我们共同期待中国发展高层论坛2025年年会。

  Ladies and Gentlemen,

  Innovation and technology can provide a solution for many of the challenges we face today. At BMW, innovation is in our DNA. And the importance of China for our innovation activities has grown tremendously over the last years. 

  From promoting New Energy Vehicles and Intelligent Connected Vehicles, to the pioneering of smart cities and breakthroughs in AI: In China, innovation thrives and benefits greatly from collaboration. 

  For more than three decades, China has been more than a market for the BMW Group: we feel at home in China. Not only do we produce and develop vehicles locally, but we also actively take part in Chinese society.

  Today, China’s technological and industrial advancements set global benchmarks. Together with our partners in China, BMW will seize this momentum to further drive high-quality development. 

  Allow me to provide three thoughts here: 

  First, on international relations. Economic growth thrives through opening, not closing. We notice with concern the increase of protectionist behavior worldwide. This will not create winners, but will result in a situation where everyone is going to lose prosperity. At BMW, we strongly oppose tariffs or other trade barriers. We believe that the best answer to de-coupling or de-risking is more cooperation - not less.

  This brings me to my second thought: cross-sectoral partnerships. Our cooperation with Chinese battery cell manufacturers is one of the best examples of successful Sino-German cooperation. We are sourcing our Gen6 battery cells from CATL and EVE in Hungary. Our partnership with CATL goes back to the very early days of electrification in China. BMW’s supply chain is a bridge between China and Europe - a bridge we are strengthening.

  My final thought: our growing development footprint in China. BMW’s R&D network in China is our largest outside of Germany, spanning Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, and Nanjing. Our next-generation electric vehicle platform, the NEUE KLASSE, is a manifesto of our “At Home in China” strategy: The Shanghai design team has led the development of NEUE KLASSE’s China specific models, integrating localized aesthetics and functionalities that resonate with Chinese consumers. These solutions are born in China, tested here, and perfected for here.

  Ladies and Gentlemen, BMW’s story in China is simple. We grow when China grows; we innovate when China pushes the boundaries; and we succeed when China thrives. To us, being “at home” in China means more than building factories or selling cars. It means sharing a goal to drive progress, together.
